Start AutoCAD without any drawing open March 19, 2013May 7, 2017 Luke Johnson At command prompt, type STARTUP and hit Enter. Type 2 and hit Enter. When you close AutoCAD and then re-open it, you will be greeted with a nice, clean screen with no drawing opened. I really wanted to use this tip but Acad being what it is tells me that 0 and 1 are my only options. BOOO! I'll go back to revit now and not worry about it.
