Using a single RVT link with Multiple Design Options for Multi-Storey

I have used a similar technique for residential housing – where you can have repetitive plans with only small differences. It can even be adapted to work in a demolition scenario.

The visibility in each applicable view must be set appropriately, but the net result is cleaner and easier to control than the other methods.

Thanks to Aaron Maller for the video.

Hi, how does it work regarding schedulles and BOQ? does Revit measure the right quantities in the different design options, even if it is a link?
Thanks, great video.

If you can set up schedule to show linked items filtered by Design Option, it should work. If not, you may have to filter with some other thing, like make a parameter for Link Schedule Filter and do it that way.
